About This Course

In this computer science course, we will explain the various services available in Office 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Skype for Business Online and others. We will cover the various subscriptions options for small businesses, educational customers as well as enterprises. The first steps of setting up a tenant are critical for success and this course will explain in detail each step to ensure your Office 365 tenant and clients will be in good shape from day one. You will also learn how to work through some troubleshooting ideas to better prepare you if you get stuck with provisioning Office 365 Services.

    Martin Coetzer is a Senior Content Developer with the Microsoft Learning eXperiences team. He is responsible for managing the Office 365, Exchange, Lync, SharePoint, Office and Dynamics certification portfolios. Prior to this Martin was a consultant with Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) responsible for architecting and deploying Microsoft technologies at medium to large customers around the world.

    Brian Svidergol builds Microsoft infrastructure and cloud solutions with Exchange Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and related technologies. He holds many industry certifications including the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) – Cloud Platform and Infrastructure. Brian is the author of several books on Microsoft technologies.

    Stan Reimer is president of S. R. Technical Services Inc., and he works as a consultant, trainer, and author. Stan has extensive experience consulting on Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Directory and Office 365 deployments for some of the largest companies in Canada. Stan is the lead author for two Active Directory books for Microsoft Press. For the last twelve years, Stan has been writing courseware for Microsoft Learning, specializing in Active Directory, Exchange Server, Skype for Business Server and Office 365 courses. Stan has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for 15 years.

    Allan Jacobs is a trainer, consultant and writer based in New York City. While technically an independent, Allan works provides his training through Global Knowledge and spends a good deal of his time travelling to client sites and training centers throughout the US. He has taught many Train the Trainer sessions for instructional skills, as well as Lync and System Center at Microsoft Trainer Summits. For the last nine years Allan has been selected to staff Microsoft’s TechEd and now Ignite conferences and has served as a Subject Matter Expert on several projects for Microsoft Learning. Allan was also co-author of the revision of the Microsoft Official Courseware for OCS 2007 R2, the Lync 2013 Depth Support Engineer Course and the MOC for Skype for Business Server 2015. He has served as the Technical Reviewer of Office 365 and Azure courses for SR Technical Services and Microsoft. In his younger days Allan practiced law, something that he has happily avoided for the last sixteen years.
